World Safety Day

Commemorating World Patient Safety Day at Iranians Psychiatric Hospital

Coinciding with World Patient Safety Day on September 17, a commemorative ceremony was held at Iranians Psychiatric Hospital with the aim of promoting a culture of safety and improving the quality of healthcare services.

The ceremony was organized by Ms. Yazdani, the Coordinating Supervisor for Patient Safety, and attended by Dr. Majid Hazratizadeh, Hospital Director, along with senior hospital officials and nursing staff.

During the ceremony, Dr. Hazratizadeh emphasized the importance of patient safety in the process of healthcare delivery and stated:

««Patient safety is the most important and serious issue in the provision of healthcare services, and every member of the hospital staff plays a vital role in this regard. We sincerely appreciate all our colleagues who, through their commitment, knowledge, and expertise, ensure the health and safety of our valued patients.»»

Following the ceremony, a patient safety information and service desk was set up on the hospital premises to mark World Patient Safety Day. Brochures and educational materials related to patient safety were distributed, refreshments were served to visitors, and the attending experts responded to their questions and concerns regarding patient safety and patient care.

The event was held as part of efforts to strengthen the culture of patient safety, increase awareness among visitors and staff, and emphasize the important role of all members of the healthcare team in improving the quality and safety of healthcare services.
