How to introduce patients to Iranian Hospital

  1. By providing a direct letter from the attending physician

Procedures for hospitalization in Iranian Hospital

  1. Patients' visits to hospital admissions.
  2. Presenting the patient identification card and the presence of first-degree relatives along with their identification card is mandatory.
  3. Having a prescription from the treating physician indicating the patient's need for hospitalization is mandatory if the patient does not have a valid hospitalization letter issued by attending physicians during their visit, and if hospitalization is diagnosed as necessary.
  4. Providing admission and hospitalization information, as well as the associated costs, and introducing the hospital to accompanying individuals.
  5. Filling out admission forms and commitments by first-degree relatives.

  6. Obtaining upfront payment from self-paying patients and also insurance with a deductible.

  7. Providing a referral letter from the contracted insurance for patients with supplementary insurance is mandatory.

Outpatient admission procedures of Iranian hospital clinic

  1. The psychiatric clinic operates from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and it is also open on Wednesday afternoons.
  2. The appointment system is done both in person and online.
  3. Patients wait for their appointments in a designated waiting area in the clinic, and before their psychiatric consultation, all patients are visited by a psychologist and a psychological assessment is conducted.
  4. The entry into the consultation room is organized by the clinic's secretary, with security personnel stationed in the hospital lobby.
  5. Vital signs (blood pressure and body temperature measurements) of all patients in the clinic are taken by stationed nurses.
